This series of lino prints began with a walk in the grounds of Ashton Court Manor in Bristol. Walking into and out of the woods, I noticed the effects of the changing light. The work became an abstract study, looking at the layers of growth by layering up the lino cuts. It was an interesting way of exploring the depth and atmosphere of the woodland. To me the prints symbolise hope.
